CLEANING+CARE

Leather Products

All Frankie Cameron Bags are proudly handcrafted using only the highest quality genuine leather. We believe in eliminating waste by using the entire hide in the making of our bags. As a result, each bag is unique in color and texture. Color and grain variations are to be expected and make every bag a one-of-a-kind piece.

All leather we use is hand-selected to ensure the finest possible quality, utilizing a natural, synthetic-free finish. Because of this, scratching and wear and tear will occur. Sunlight, body oils, and exposure to the elements may cause your bag to darken or change color over time.

Taking extra care of your bag will increase its longevity and allow you to enjoy it for years to come. Be kind to your Frankie Cameron bag by avoiding exposure to excessive temperatures, sunlight, and moisture. Before storing, stuff and return your bag to the included duster it arrived in. Natural leather cleaners may assist in preserving your bag; however, we recommend taking it to be cleaned by your local professional.

Hide

Our hide bags are made with authentic cowhide and genuine leather. We believe in limiting waste and using the entire hide for our bags. As a result, each bag is unique in color and texture. Color and grain variations are to be expected and make every bag a one-of-a-kind piece.

Cowhide is delicate, and over time, friction can cause rubbing or thinning of the hide. This is not a defect in the production of the bag. To protect the hide from weather and to keep it smooth, a thin coat of hair spray may be applied over the hide portion only of your bag.

Liners

To clean your Frankie Cameron Liner, unzip it from your bag. Once the liner has been removed, you can either wash the liner by hand using warm water or place the liner by itself in the washing machine on the delicate cycle. Do not put your liner in the dryer. Instead, once the liner has been washed, set out to dry, preferably indoors.

Once the liner has completely dried, zip it back into your bag, and enjoy.

* Do not place Changing Pads in the washing machine! Instead, wipe off with a damp rag and allow to dry.
